Flagship Workstation

A Flagship Workstation is a Workstation designed with all-top components. This does not necessarily mean the best components, only the best versions of those components.

For example:

  • an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X can be designated flagship as it is the top version of the Zen1 Threadripper
  • an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X can not as it is not the top version of that processor type.

A Flagship Workstation remains designated a flagship workstation even once it is obsolete; it is simply a Flagship Workstation of that particular time. Hence, Seda's Enhancements may refer to a system as "Flagship 2012" or "Flagship 2018" in dialog boxes.
