Seda's Enhancements is designed to run on Debian “Bookworm” (12) GNU/Linux or later. Many of the scripts can also run to a limited degree on Apple macOS Monterey (12) or later. For the most part, SE can run on any hardware that Debian can run on. However, it does require a Vulkan API compatible Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) using either the AMD or Intel open source driver. Support for the NVIDIA open source driver module is untested, and this document will be updated when that changes.

The following minimum specifications are required :

CPU
x86-64 Dual-Core
Memory
2GB or More
Video
Vulkan-Capable Open Source Graphics Device
Storage
At least one 120GB or larger Solid State Drive (SSD)

The following specifications are recommended for complete functionality of all available features at their full potential :

CPU
x86-64-v2 Eight-Core
Memory
16GB or More
Video
At least two Vulkan-Capable Open Source Graphics Devices
Storage
At least three storage drives, where the Operating System (OS) root partition is on a 240GB or larger Solid State Drive (SSD)

When Seda's Enhancements is running on a Server processor - such as an Opteron, Epyc, or Xeon – the requirement for a Vulkan-Capable graphics driver is not checked, but is still recommended.

It is possible to bypass the requirements for the installer - particularly CPU and Memory requirements - but the functionality of the software is not guaranteed. On systems with only 2GB of memory, image enhancement tools are not all available.
