A Seda's Enhancements Component
IntroducedSE6

seda-tweak is a component of Seda's Enhancements, introduced in SE6.

Purpose

This allows you to apply some very basic tweaks to the execution method used to launch an application. Most of what this tool used to do is now covered by a either seda-affinity or updates to Linux/Mesa. This will be removed in a later release.

Requirements

For ray tracing on most amdgpu devices, this uses OpenCL and requires mesa-opencl-icd (and mesa-opencl-icd:i386 for use with 32-bit software) to be installed.

Graphical

If Steam and Battle.Net are installed, they will appear under
Tools & Extras → Steam/Battle.net

For the rest

Terminal

Example, you can apply seda-tweak --default %command% as launch options for a Steam game to potentially improve performance. This can also run from a terminal with either --default, --seda, or --insane as needed.

--seda option is designed for use with other Seda's Enhancements scripts.

insane option runs a task on a random thread.
