seda-getmedia is a component of Seda's Enhancements, introduced in SE7.
Purpose
seda-getmedia will attempt to download video with audio (or just audio) from an online source, such as YouTube. It uses the yt-dlp project to do this and any sites supported by yt-dlp
should work.
Requirements
All systems supported by Seda's Enhancements are capable of running this feature.
Graphical
Media Archive & Playback → Download Media → Download & Store Online Video/Audio
Terminal
To use, run seda-getmedia
from a normal user terminal
(e.g. seda-getmedia --fetch www.website.com/file/yourfilehere
).
If it is interrupted then run the same command again from the same location - it should resume where it left off.
Note that this cannot download media/video files; use the menu entry for that.
