seda-play is a component of Seda's Enhancements, introduced in SE8.
Purpose
This allows you to select a disc, video file, or file archive to play. SE2024 will automatically select the appropriate player for you based on the file or disc media type. It also plays a file directly with enhancements to the audio and video applied via a profile for mpv.
Requirements
All systems supported by Seda's Enhancements are capable of running this feature.
Graphical
Media Archive & Playback → Play Media → Play Video Media (Discs/Archives/Files)
Terminal
Type seda-play or seda-play /path/to/media in the terminal or,
From the file manager :
- right-click a file
- choose open with other application
- choose custom command
- enter
